On the satnav screen showing the map I pressed the spyglass icon to the right, centre of the screen (not the two at the top left). This then brings up another screen. Press the spyglass and letter icon on the top right of the screen. This should then show an input line on the top.
I have just purchased a 2016 plate Octavia Business addition I have a couple of issues. The telephone and bluetooth media does not work. After pressing the phone button, the screen displays 'Telephone not available'. Selecting media bluetooth it shows 'Unable to switch to Bluetooth'. There is no Škoda Octavia. Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020) Sat Nav zoom distance and auto zoom. My sat nav seems to be permanently set to ~700yd on the map, I can zoom in fine with the right dial but it zooms back out itself. Is there a way to set the zoom level manually? Auto-zoom doesn't seem to work either!

My understanding is the same, Skoda pay for the service for the new cars they sell, the owner doesn't pay an annual fee, we'll not on a 2017 car. I think the system is different now. So if Skoda have stopped paying I would expect other cars with the same integrated Sat nav to stop TMC as well. I am convinced it happened after a Skoda service.

The SD card in the glove box unit is the map programme for the sat nav. You'd have to take that unit out and replace it with a Sat-nav unit, e.g. Amundsen. You will have to fit the GPS sensor somewhere but that can normally be done quite easily.
